Ruth Woerner

Ruth Edythe Woerner “AUNT RUTH”, age 92, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday October 30, 2007. Aunt Ruth spent many years as an office manager and secretary of the Law Firm of Brownfield, Bowen, Bally & Sturtz. Ruth was an avid coin collector and enjoyed watching the stock market. She loved to travel and most importantly, loved spending time with her family. She was also a member of Glenwood United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by father Herman Woerner, mother Lillian Heck Woerner, brother Robert Woerner, sister Lydia Lane and nephew Robert Lane. Survived by loving niece Diane Lane (Richard) Hammons, grand nephews Matt (Lauren) Hammons, Joshua (Jamie) Hammons and Peter Lane, grandniece Amanda Lane (Ron) Lucy, great grand nieces Drew Hammons and Ava Lucy, great grand nephews Connor and Rowan Lucy and niece Cindy Lane. Friends may call 11-1 pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, where funeral service will follow at 1 pm Friday. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery.
