Sandra Borghese

Sandra Joan Lacy Borghese (Joanie), 81, passed away with family by her side after a long battle with lung disease on August 28, 2024. She was born and raised between Ironton, and Columbus, Ohio. She graduated from Ironton then moved permanently to Columbus where she studied to become a paralegal. She worked at several Columbus law offices including Lawyers Title. Her greatest joy was her job as mother to Christopher (Mia) Borghese, Stephen (Ann Marie) Borghese, and Adrian (Beth) Borghese. She loved to travel and spent many years running several businesses that allowed her to travel back and forth across the country. She lived full-time in Florida, and Mexico for several years as well, and she made many friends along the way. She also had a lifelong love of animals and especially loved her Maltese dogs and rescued, raised, and bred many over her lifetime. 

She is preceded in death by her parents Clarence and Irene Lacy; and siblings Donald Ray (Sparkie) Lacy, and Susan Schaffer. 

She will be greatly missed by her children, her many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and by extended family and friends.
