Sandra "Sandy" McCloud

McCloud, Sandra Sue “Sandy”, 81 of New Albany, formerly of Hilliard and Grandview Heights, passed away Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at New Albany Care Center Assisted Living.  Born November 10, 1941, in Highland Park, Michigan, to Lawrence and Vivian Sherman.  Sandy retired from Huntington National Bank.  She loved to garden and was especially proud of her peonies and roses.  She enjoyed walking with friends, square dancing (former member of Rhythm Reelers) and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  Sandy was a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church in Upper Arlington.  She is preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Ernest F McCloud, her parents, and her granddaughter, Annalisa Marie Clouse.  She is survived and deeply missed by daughter Laurie McCloud Clouse, son Michael (Rita) McCloud, sister Colleen (Larry) Fuhrman, brother Larry (Arlene) Sherman, nieces Eileen and Jennifer Sherman and grandchildren Julianna and Andrew (“AC”) Clouse, Henry and William Kitchen and Claire McCloud.  Friends and family may call Wednesday, March 1, 2023 from 5pm to 7pm at the Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio 43026.  Services will be Thursday, March 2, 2023, at 11am, also at Tidd Funeral Home.  Interment at Sunset Cemetery in Galloway following the service.  The family wishes to thank the staff at New Albany Care Center Assisted Living, especially Renea Zorak, RN and all Promedica Hospice especially nurses Salem and Gretchen and chaplain Ellen.  In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Promedica Hospice Care.
