DYKEMA Sara Deloris “Nikki” Dykema. age 80 of London, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009 at Select Specialty in Columbus. She was born August 25, 1929 in Meigs County, Ohio. The daughter of the late Ralph and Maude Lawson Nichols, Sr.
She took great pride in dressing as a clown named “Nikko” for many volunteer organizations.
Preceded in death by husband of 47 years, Morton Forrest “Lucky” Dykema; and son, Michael.
She is survived by children,Melodee Osborn, Sheena Dykema, both of Mt. Sterling, Carolyn (Robert) Sizelove of Newark, Nikki Lee Wallace of Columbus, Alice (Harold) Ryan of Michigan, Mitchell (Doris) Dykema of Michigan; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother Ralph (JoAnn) Nichols of Columbus; sister Ruth Nichols of PA.
A Funeral service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Friday, October 23, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Pastor Tim Ruesch officiating with the interment following in Greenlawn Cemetery in Columbus. Family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.
