Mayer-Lockhart, Sarah Faye
1984-2021
Sarah Faye Mayer-Lockhart, age 37, was called home by the Lord on August 27th. Sarah was born in Columbus Ohio and spent her life as a resident of Hilliard, Ohio. She is survived by her son Gabriel Kitsos, her Parents, Randy and Roseann Mayer (Hilliard) and Siblings Rachel Mayer (Hilliard) and Nathan Mayer (Hilliard), her step-grandmother Nishia King (Columbus), A very loving relationship with her Great Aunt Wilma Hall (Hilliard).
Nephew Tristan Michael Grossman (Hilliard) and Niece Quinn Rose Ransbottom (Hilliard).
Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Loving Friends. Sarah was grateful for her extended family as well as the many friends she truly loved.
Sarah was preceded in Death by her Grandparents, Richard and Dora Mayer (Hilliard Ohio), Ilene and Jim Short (Hillsboro Ohio), Elmo King (Columbus Ohio), her Great Grandmother that she dearly loved, Mary Fay King – aka Mamaw (Columbus).
Sarah graduated from Hilliard Darby High School in 2002 and obtained her LPN degree with honors through Fortis College. She worked as a caregiver in addition to various other service type positions. Sarah was giving, kind and loved all people and animals. Her bond with Scooter and the ducks she fed frequently was special – and almost weird. She was a beach lover that would light up at the site of an ocean or beautiful lake or the possibility of visiting one. She enjoyed many vacations and cruises to the ocean – and none more special than the cruises she shared with her Mother.
Sarah recently shared that the biggest thing she “got right” in her life was giving birth to her beautiful three year old son, Gabriel Jacob, who our hearts ache for as he faces a life without his Momma that had so much to offer him and this world. We will put our arms around the precious gift Sarah left behind that is a part of her - and see that he receives our love and care for all our remaining days.
While the hearts of family and friends are saddened by Sarah’s passing, we know she is in the hands of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We take comfort in knowing that she is in his ever forgiving and unconditional loving arms and she is asking questions about how quickly she can help others in her new role as a Heavenly Angel. Make it good for as many as you can baby girl. We all love you forever.
