Seldon Adkins

Seldon Adkins, age 88, of Hilliard passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 2, 2023. He attended Hilliard United Methodist Church and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was born in East Lynn, West Virginia, a son of the late Harvey and Ella Adkins.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Ruth Ann Adkins, along with seven brothers and two sisters.

He was a proud graduate of Marshall University and worked as an accountant for General Motors for 26 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed selling real estate, golfing, bowling, and following college and professional sports teams.

He is survived by his daughters Rhonda (Matt) Slyh and Tammy Adkins (Mike Mosbacher); grandchildren Kristina and Kevin Slyh, Casey and Bailey Mosbacher; brothers Orville Adkins and Mike Adkins; sisters Joyce Roach and Sherma Ferguson; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

Family will receive friends at the Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard, 5265 Norwich St. on Saturday, November 11th from 12:00-2:00 with a memorial service immediately following the visitation.
