Shelly Renee Miller

Shelly Renee Miller of Galloway, born May 3, 1961 passed away unexpectedly on October 16, 2022.  Shelly was born and raised in Hilliard, graduating a year early from Hilliard High School in 1978.  Shelly spent many years as a foster parent, helping and loving the children as her own. Shelly spent the last several years living her life to the fullest. She was an avid cruiser and concert goer. Shelly had a special love for animals. She had adopted many animals of the years but had a special place In her heart for her 3 potbellied pigs, Nibblet, Nugget and Nooget, whom she loved deeply. 

She is Proceeded in death by her mother, Janet Miller; grandparents, John and Opal Clark and Mary Ball; son-in-law Kevin Hammond.

Shelly is survived by her loving daughter Jennifer Hammond; granddaughter Kayla Hammond; great friend and Jennifer’s father, Dave Thompson; father David (Anne) Miller; Sisters Sheila (Dave) Staats and Sherry (Jack) Goldsmith; devoted friends Greg Blue, Denise Chase and Christina Slaughter.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 6, 2022, from 2:30 P.M.- 4:30 P.M., at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, 43026, where a Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
