Shirley Davis, age 74, of Springfield, passed away, Friday, April 03, 2009. Member of United Methodist Church. Active in the Officers Wives Club of Wright Patterson AFB and graduate of Florida State University with a degree in nursing. Preceded in death by husband Lt. Colonel Robert Davis and sister Rosa Lee. Survived by daughter Chris (Tim) Prater, sisters Lorena, Dora and Gloria, brother Stan and grandchildren Drew, Ali, Brooke and Daniel. Family will receive friends 11-1 pm Monday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 ; where funeral service will follow at 1 pm Monday with Pastor Ken Harrell officiating. Interment Alton Cemetery.
