Shirley McPherson

Shirley J. McPherson, age 74, died Sunday, January 9, 2011 in Pickaway Manor of Circleville after an extended illness. She was born November 24, 1936 in Lockbourne, Ohio to the late Charles and Laura Lambert.
Shirley was an avid gardener and a retired Florist. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The only sport she knew was OSU football.
She was preceded in death by husband, James W. McPherson; brother Paul Lambert; sisters Norma Griffith and Marianna Rarey.
She is survived by sons Shawn (Tracy) McPherson of Derby, John McPherson also of Derby, and Ian McPherson of South Bend, Indiana; two grandchildren Gwen and Braden McPherson; sisters Helen Miller and Virginia Kuhns. Special thanks to Pickaway County Hospice, Jack and sis Hughes.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Leland Brehm officiating with the burial following in Darbyville Cemetery. Family will receive friends beginning 12:00 noon until time of service.
