Steven Williams

Steven G Williams, 68 of Springfield, passed away January 3, 2018 at OSU Medical Center, Columbus.  He was born June 12, 1949 in Washington Court House, Ohio.  He served in the United States Army during Vietnam. He was retired from Law Enforcement and member of the Mt. Sterling Free Will Baptist Church. Preceded in death by parents Leonard and Nancy (Holbrook) Williams; brothers Leroy, Raymond, Larry, Kenneth, and Herschel; sister Regina. Survived by wife of 28 years, Robin; children Tonya (Shawn) Coder, Stephen (Mindi) Nickell, and Shawn Nickell; grandchildren Bridget, Nicolas, Kyleigh, Morgan, Kendall, Connor, Tre', Kayla, Kamryn, and Josie; great-grandson Carter; brothers Leonard, Rick and Tim Williams; sisters Geri Sigmon and Carol Gordon; numerous nieces and nephews; numerous bothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Free Will Baptist Church in Mt. Sterling.  Rev. Densil Wright officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to time of service.  The family is being served by the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. In lieu of flowers family suggest memorial contributions be given to the Free Will Baptist Church, 15938 Cook Avenue, Mt. Sterling, OH. 43143.
