Stu Lawson

Stuart Clifton “Stu” Lawson, 57, of Dublin, Ohio, formerly of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, son of Jerome and Martha Lawson was born on January 5, 1961. He died on Friday, May 11, 2018 in Dublin, Ohio. In addition to his parents, Stu is survived by his five children, Ashley Layendecker of Nashville, Tennessee, Cole, Baylee, Avery and Baker Lawson of Columbus, Ohio, one sister, Sarah O’Neal and husband Mike, of Campbellsville, Kentucky, several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. Stu was a 1979 graduate of Elizabethtown High School in Elizabethtown, Kentucky where he enjoyed being in the band. He was also a graduate of the University of Kentucky receiving his bachelor’s degree in Journalism in 1983. He enjoyed golfing, following UK sports, music, and playing drums. Stu had professed his faith in Christ and was a member of the Methodist church.

A time of Visitation and a Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 19,2018 from 1:00-3:00p.m. at the Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, Ohio 43026 (614)-876-1722 with Dr. Mike O’Neal officiating.  The Memorial Service will begin at 2:00p.m. Burial will be in Elizabethtown, Kentucky at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations via the GoFundMe page. to aid with Stu’s children’s college fund.  The family wants to thank you for your prayers.
