Sylvia Lowe, 77, entered into Heaven on July 6, 2012, with her family by her side.
A celebration of life service is scheduled for 4:00 on Monday, July 9 at Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard Ohio. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service.
Mrs. Lowe was born on June 8,1935 in Kennedy, Alabama to James Marion and Naomi Foster. After graduating high school, she worked for 17 years at Westinghouse Corp. in Reform, Alabama as a laborer. Later in life, she worked as a manager for Friday Oil Company, which was also located in Reform, Alabama.
She relocated from Alabama to the Columbus, Ohio area in October of 2011 to be near her son and his family. Mrs. Lowe was a resident at Altercare of Hilliard. She enjoyed participating in many of the activities at the facility but her favorite thing to do was play bingo. She enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and was particularly excited to spend time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lowe is survived by her son and his wife, Allen & Kristin Lowe of Columbus, Ohio; 2 grandchildren, Austin & Emma Lowe of Columbus, Ohio; sister Carolyn Brewer of Reform, Alabama; and husband, Harold Lowe of Reform, Alabama.
