Tara Ann Boggs Sheppard

Tara Ann Sheppard (Boggs) known to some by “TaTa” or “MaMa T”, passed away Thursday October 10th, 2024.

Tara was an affectionate, dedicated, and hard-working individual who had a compassionate nature and giving spirit and always put the needs of others ahead of her own. She had a big heart and loved hard and had a witty sense of humor. 

Tara was born on October 8th, 1980 in Portsmouth Ohio to parents Terry (Debbie) Boggs and Renee (Larry) Carter. She grew up in Hilliard and graduated Davidson High School, in 1999. 

She was currently living in Groveport OH working as a Licensed Medical Assistant. She also worked as a dispatcher through Portsmouth EMS and obtained her RA/Drug Counseling certification, shortly after she graduated from her sobriety program in September, 2022. 

Tara had a beautiful daughter, Alexis Ann Fox as well as sisters Alisha Bostick, Amy Boggs, Brittney Little and Brother Chris (Sonya) Boggs. Extended siblings Theresa, Greg, and Hassel (Carter). Immediate nieces and nephews Austin, Aliyah, Aiden, Luke, Damian, Adalynn, Zaedyn and Eric. 

Tara had many more family, friends, and coworkers who loved her and will miss her deeply. 

Family will receive friends from 11:00a.m.-1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY, OCTOBER 16, 2024 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 where her Funeral Service will follow the visitation and begin at 1:00p.m. WEDNESDAY. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
