Thelma V. Gibson

Thelma V. Gibson, age 95, of Hilliard, Ohio, went to be with her loving husband in Heaven on Tuesday, October 4, 2022. Born in Branchville, Indiana, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband Elza G. “Hoot” Gibson, her parents Elwood and Minnie Frakes, her siblings Mary Oliver, Velma Knieriem, Edgar Frakes, Elwood Boyd Frakes,George Frakes, Zelda Lynch and Temple Frakes. She is survived by her children Dennis Gibson and Steve (Betty) Gibson, her grandchildren Kim (Jon) Allison, Steven (Thea) Gibson, Angela (Tony) Wright and Jacquie (Mike) Evans, her great-grandchildren: Jessica (Dustin) Thacker, Brad Gibson, Ben Allison, Allie Ensign, Antonio (Winnie) Jester, Kate (Marrio) Boose, Austin Jester, Zia Gibson, Xander Gibson, her great-great-grandchildren: Cooper Thacker, Brennon Thacker, Star Jester, Lila Jester and Liam Mehle, sister-in-law Wilda M. Frakes, her many nieces and nephews and many, many friends. Thelma was a long-time member of Hilliard United Methodist Church. She was a 50-year member of Women of the Moose where she held the degree of College of Regents. Thelma was an active member of Hilliard Lodge #2236 and Chapter #1076. Family will receive friends from 5:00p.m.-7:00p.m. FRIDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 where a Women of the Moose Service will be held at 6:30p.m. FRIDAY. Family will also welcome friends before the Funeral from 9:00a.m.-10:00a.m. on SATURDAY. Her Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 10:00a.m. SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8, 2022 with Reverend April Blaine, officiating. Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
