Thelma Vance

Thelma Vance, age 101, of Dublin, OH, passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2012. She was of Christian faith. Preceded in death by parents Joshua “Dot” and Mabel (Howey) Castle, husband Andrew Jackson Vance 1971, daughter Mabel (Vance) Edler, 3 sisters, 1 brother and 2 grandsons. Survived by children Gordon Ray (Norma Lee) Vance, Wendell (Diana) Vance and Joshua “JM” (Carol) Vance, son-in–law Sanford Edler, 11 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and numerous loving relatives and friends. There will be no local services. Family will receive friends Friday 5-8 pm at the Phelps- Son Funeral Home, 498 New Route 3, Inez, KY 41224 and also 10-12 pm Saturday, July 14, 2012; where funeral service will follow at 12 pm. Interment immediately following at Vance Family Cemetery, Inez, KY.
