Thomas K. Alexander

Thomas K. Alexander, age 82, of Hilliard, Ohio passed away Friday, August 5, 2022.

Thomas graduated from North High School in 1959.  After graduation, Thomas enlisted into the United States Marine Corp.  Corporal Thomas Alexander served 4 years receiving an Honorable discharge.

In 1963, Thomas help start the Grove City Nazarene Church where he attended for several year teaching the youth and going on several mission trips to places like Costa Rica and Belize

After several years selling Insurance as an independent agent, he decided to start his own agency. In 1979, Thomas K. Alexander Insurance Agency was formed.  He was so proud to have a successful family-owned business where his two daughters could also work.

In 1988, he joined the Scioto Ridge United Methodist Church where he was an active member until his death.

Thomas had several loves: Bringing people the word of God, OSU Football, the Marine Corps and his family.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Dorothy (Grubbs) Alexander, and a sister and brother. He is survived by his loving wife Kathleen, his Daughters Robin (Greg) Sexten and Dhea (Drex) Simpkins, his Sister Diana Seese, his Grandchildren Ryan (Jennifer) Sexten, Alexandra (Jason) Hendry, Drex (Alexandra Dopp) Simpkins, Dane (Hayley Urben) Simpkins, Devyn Simpkins, Dustin Simpkins, his Great Grandchildren Kayden, Easton, Caroline, Noah, Isabelle, Brielle.

Family will receive friends on Friday, August 12, 2022 from 11:00a.m.-12:00p.m. at SCIOTO RIDGE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 4343 Dublin Road, Hilliard, OH  43026.  A Celebration of Life service will follow at 12:00 p.m. FRIDAY.
