Thomas Carey Brannock

Thomas Carey Brannock, age 84, of Hilliard, passed away on January 6, 2023. He was born on July 20,
1938 in Waynesville, Ohio, to the late James and Cora Brannock and was preceded in death by his dear
sister, Donna Bromley.

Tom proudly served in the U.S. Army from 1956-1959. He received his undergraduate degree from the
University of Cincinnati and his MBA from The Ohio State University. He was a member of Sigma Chi
Fraternity and retired from American Electric Power. Tom was a sports enthusiast and a converted
Notre Dame fan. He enjoyed table tennis, reading, crosswords, sudoku, and family vacations.

Tom is survived by his wife of 56 years, Leanne Gasser Brannock; children, Thomas C. (Jennifer)
Brannock II, Sarah C. (Douglas) May and John M. (Kristen) Brannock. He was loved and revered by his
seven grandsons, Charlie, David, Tommy, and John May and J.J., Jacob, and Alex Brannock. The boys
enjoyed his math quizzes, puns, adventures, trips to McDonalds, and love of Beatles music. His greatest
joy was attending their sporting, theater, and music events.

A Memorial Mass, followed by a luncheon, will be held on Tuesday January 10 at 11am at St. Margaret
of Cortona, 1600 N Hague Ave, Columbus, OH 43204. Interment and a White Rose Ceremony will take
place at Miami Cemetery in Waynesville, Ohio, this spring.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity that is close to your heart. Although Tom had dementia, he
knew how to Let It Be and that All You Need is Love. And we definitely feel his presence Here, There
and Everywhere.
