Thomas Dixon

Thomas E. Dixon, age 90, born to Dora (Miller) and William Dixon 1921 in Springfield, OH, passed away December 9, 2011. US Army Veteran, serving in the 719th Railway Operations. Retired from Conrail Railroad as a Locomotive Engineer after 38 years of service. Preceded in death by first wife Helen Dixon of 53 years, brother James Dixon, and stepdaughter Barbara Hankey. Survived by wife Louise Dixon, Jackson, OH, daughters Shirley A. (Bruce) Corwin, Pataskala, OH and Nancy J. (Evan) Brown, Leesburg, FL, stepdaughters Carla S. Fields, Jackson, OH and Peggy Chaney, Leesport, LA, 8 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Family would like to thank Tuscany Gardens and Tridia Hospice staff for their kindness and support. Family will receive friends Tuesday 7-9 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held Wednesday 11 am at the Hilliard Church of Christ, 4300 Avery Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026; where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to time of service. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
