Thomas H. Gallagher

Thomas H. Gallagher, age 73, passed peacefully after a long battle with cancer, Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving family. Born June 16, 1942 in Cleveland, OH where he resided until 1990. Former owner of Midpark Drug in Middleburg Heights, OH and later worked as an independent sales rep for many years. Member of Quarry Masonic Lodge in Berea, OH and a member of New Hope Church in Powell, OH. He was an avid angler and outdoorsman. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Gertrude Gallagher; father and mother-in-law, Donald and Ruth Tate. Survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Martha; devoted son, Thomas R. Gallagher; loving St. Bernard, Holly; sister-in-law, Rebecca (John) Zurcher; many close friends and family members. Friends are welcome to come celebrate Tom's life Saturday, September 5, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH 43026 where Masonic Service will be 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Sunday, September 6, 2015 at 2 p.m. at New Hope Church,4739 W. Powell Rd. in Powell, OH 43065. Rev. Sarah Palsma officiating. In lieu of flowers, family suggests memorial contributions be made to New Hope Church Endowment Fund.
