Thomas Murray

Thomas J. Murray, age 85, of Dublin, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 5, 2020. He was a master mechanic and craftsman. Tommy proudly served in the U.S National Guard, loved to discuss and debate global politics, loved his native country of Ireland and adopted home in America, and was a passionate New York Mets fan. Preceded in death by parents John and Mary Murray, sisters Mae Murray and Elizabeth Masterson. Survived by loving wife Julie Murray, children John (Debbie) Murray and Patricia (Tom) Mazurek, siblings Johnny (Monica) Murray, Mike (Tessie) Murray, Margaret (Kevin) Smith and Dolores Masterson, brother-in-law Sean Masterson, husband of Elizabeth, grandchildren John, Ryan, Mary Kate Murray and Katie, Tommy and Julia Mazurek, many close nieces, nephews and friends around the world. Family will receive friends 4-7 pm Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at TIDD FUNERAL HOME PLAIN CITY/DUBLIN CHAPEL, 9720 State Route 161, Plain City, OH 43064. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 am Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Rd, Dublin, OH 43017. Inurnment Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid of Kildare Catholic Church.
