Thomas Rae

Thomas O. Rae, age 87, of Hilliard, went Home to be with the Lord Sunday October 18, 2009. Life member of The Hilliard Church of Christ, U.S. Army Veteran of WWII and Air National Guard, retired from the State of Ohio with 33 years of service. Preceded in death by parents, John H. and Ruth M. Rae; brothers, Bob and Bill; and sister, Patty Davis. Survived by loving wife of 59 years, Dorothy; children, Tom Rae Jr. of Grinnell, IA, Patti (Jeff) Sharp of Grove City, and Lewis (Angie) Rae; grandchildren, Ben (Monica) Rae of IA, Stephen and Joseph Sharp, Bethani Rae; step great-grandsons, Landon and Parker Hammons; along with numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8pm at The Hilliard Church of Christ 4300 Avery Road Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service Thursday at 10am at the church with Danny Vanscoy officiating. Cremation to follow. Inurnment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Central Christian College of the Bible 1111 Urbandale Dr. Moberly, MO 65270.
