Thomas Storts

Thomas Eugene Storts, age 87, of Galena, Ohio and Lake City, FL, passed away December 5, 2017 at Lake City VA Medical Center in FL. US Air Force Veteran of the Korean Conflict and recently took the Honor Flight to Washington D.C. He retired from Ohio Bell and drove a bus for Columbus and Westerville City schools. Thomas was a member of NSRA Association, Gold member with Goodguys Rod and Custom Association and loved wintering in Florida. Preceded in death by grandson Eric Langston, brothers-in-law Dan Rheinscheld and John Rowley, sister-in-law Gayle Rheinscheld. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Liz, daughters Sharon (Herb) Mason and Jane (Gary) Pounders, grandchildren Russ, Glenn and Thomas, great grandchildren Russell and Mariyah, in-laws Robert Rheinscheld, Cynthia Rowley, Judy Rheinscheld, good friends Ron and Joyce Roach and many loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends Tuesday 5-7 pm at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 10 am Wednesday. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Columbus VA Medical Center or Lake City VA Medical Center of FL.
