Thomas Wuertz

Thomas M. Wuertz, age 76, of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Tom was a man of few words but there was no stopping him of telling you his opinion. If you were loved by Tom, you knew it. He loved softball, OSU football and basketball games, golf, both playing and watching. He loved having family and friends over at The Wuertz Retreat. Tom will be sadly missed by his dog Pebbles; she was always by his side and protecting him. There are so many memories to share of such an amazing man and he will be greatly missed by all those lives he touched. Preceded in death by parents Mel and Dorothy Wuertz. Survived by loving wife of 34 years Julie, children Tom Wuertz, Lisa Tennyson, Melissa (Jeff) Salyards and Nikki Brauning, grandchildren Tommy and Colleen Wuertz, Adam and Jack Tennyson, Sydney and Zach Salyards and Tyler Brauning, great grandson Kacey Wuertz, numerous loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm Saturday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 4pm.
