Vally Swords

Vally Maria Swords, age 73 of Mt. Sterling died Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Mt. Carmel West. She was born January 18, 1937 in Florence, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Guiseppe and Ada (Gerli) Lombardelli.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Swords; children Katherine (Gene) Beretich of Baltimore, OH., Daniel (Linda) Swords of Orient, Louise (Bob) Kolb of Galena; 4 grandchildren Andrea (Sean) Light, Joseph (Stephanie) Swords, Megan Beretich, Isaiah Kolb; great granddaughter, Abigail Light; brother Rossano (Lucia) Lombardelli of Florence, Italy; niece, Letizia (Simone) Ciuffi and their daughter, Rebecca; many nieces and nephews.
A Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Pastor Glenn Stern and Pastor Dan Swords officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m.
