Varena Ward

Varena Ward, transitioned from this world to eternity at 90 years of age in her Hilliard home surrounded by her loving family. She was a member of Northwest Bible Church. Preceded in death by loving husband Paul Willis Ward Sr., sister Monaleta Burke and parents C.W. and Sada Latham. Survived by son and daughter-in-law, Paul W. and Kathy Ward of Hilliard; daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Howard McMeans of Dublin; grandchildren, Molly (Kevin) King, Kara (El) Seabra, Christy (Steve) Smith, Paul R. Ward, Michael (Laura) McMeans, Heidi (Verne) Mudge and Matthew (Jessica) McMeans; 15 great grandchildren; loving caregiver, Rada Gibson; and numerous nieces, nephews; and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. Funeral Service Wednesday 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Steve Smith and George Hattenfield officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Billy Graham Ministries.
