Vera Jane Dever Kienzel

Vera Jane Dever Kienzel, born February 28, 1919, passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2010. Member of Franklin County Home Demonstrations, OES Level #109, Hilliard Grange for 65 years, helped form Brown Township Civic Association, started the hot lunch program at Brown Elementary, member of Franklin County Agriculture Society, Northwest Franklin County Historical Society, Hilltop YWCA, Recipent of Hilliard High School Alumni and Friends Association Hall of Fame Award and a graduate of Hilliard High School Class of 1937.Preceded in death by parents Frank and Laura Kaiser, brothers Harold and Daniel Kaiser, sisters Ruth Kaiser and Anne Dellinger, husbands Donald “Bill” Dever and John “Harry” Kienzel. Survived by loving sons Gary (Sophie) Dever, Scott (Ann) Dever, 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Sunday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will be held 1 pm Monday. OES Service 7:30 pm Sunday.Interment Sunset Cemetery.
