Vernon Lee Kiser, 74 of Mt. Sterling, passed away November 9, 2009. He was born in Carter County, Kentucky. Son of the late Culie and Katherine (Edison) Kiser. Mr. Kiser was retired from Buckeye Steel Castings.
He is survived by his wife, Dottie; children Darrin (Wendy) Kiser, Scott (Shari) Kiser, Tim (Kelly) Kiser, Angie (Michael) Brown; grandchildren,
Michael, Aryn and Kayla, Nate, Kelly, Mark, and Kiera; sisters, Elizabeth Short, Josephine Kiser, Patricia Kiser; brothers Phillip, Gary, Danny, Gayle, Timothy, and Jeff Kiser; stepmother, Edna Farmer.
A visitation will be held from 4 – 7 p.m. on Thursday, November 12, 2009 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. The family will then receive friends on Friday from 4 – 7 p.m. at the Globe Funeral Home in Olive Hill, Kentucky. A Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Saturday,
November 14, 2009 with Rev. Lawrence Brown officiating. The burial will follow in Kiser Cemetery.
