Victoria Barnosky

Victoria Arabelle Barnosky, age 95, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014 at Riverside Methodist Hospital. Born February 4, 1919 in St. George, WV to the late George and Cora Shahan. Retired from the Federal Government in 1984 in Washington D.C. Moved to Hilliard in 1989. Member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 614 and performed with the Hilliard Happiness Singers. Preceded in death by husband of 46 years, George Barnosky; son, John W. Barnosky. Survived by her large, loving family; children, Ronald F. (Janet) Barnosky, Betty J. (Gary) Brett and Mary A. (John) Smith; grandchildren, Kathy (Skipper), Lee Ann (Robert), Stephanie (Ray), Ronald (Debi), Mary (Clyde), Gary (Terin), Michael (Marci), Jason (Mandy), and Matthew; 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. A memorial gathering will be held Monday, December 15, 2014 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion Post 614.
