Virginia Boucher

Virginia L. “Ginger” Boucher, age 93, of Hilliard, passed away Monday, October 14, 2013.Retired from the Hilliard Post Office after 15 years of service. Longtime member of Hilliard United Methodist Church since 1950 and a member of Lydia/Dorcas Circle. She was a volunteer for the Riverside Hospital sewing guild for over 20 years and a member of Northwest Franklin County Historical Society. Preceded in death by parents Thurman and Marietta Sours, 1 sister and 5 brothers. Survived by loving husband Leon of 67 years, mother of David (Diana) Boucher and Carole (Preston) Johnson, sisters Dorothy, Matilda, Helen and Patricia, brother Donald, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday at the Hilliard United Methodist Church, 5445 Scioto Darby Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hilliard United Methodist Church.
