Virginia R. “Ginny” Entsminger was born in Columbus, Ohio on May 30, 1928 to Ruth and Webb Snyder. She passed away on June 2, 2022, just 3 days after her 94th birthday, at her home in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin and now is reunited with the love of her life, her husband of 49 years, Jack.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack, her son James, and siblings William and Robert Snyder, and sister Margaret Coughlin as well as several brothers and sisters-in-law with whom she was very close.
She is survived by her daughter Lynn (Michael) Estell; grandchildren Bryan (Larissa) Estell, Stephanie (Michael) St. Pierre, Andrea (Blake) Etheridge, and Jeff (Andrea) Entsminger; great grandchildren Brennan, Devin, Megan, Grant, and Anastazia; two loving nieces and a nephew.
Ginny was a huge Buckeye fan and was always anxious for football season to start. She finally agreed to move to Wisconsin because it was a Big 10 school location and she could still watch her Buckeyes. She was also a lifelong Cincinnati Reds fan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name for the wonderful hospice care she received through the Agrace Foundation for the last 15 months. Donations can be sent to: Agrace Foundation, 5395 Cheryl Pkwy, Madison, WI 53711.
The family will receive friends who wish to come and say farewell to Ginny at an informal reception at TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00p.m. on FRIDAY, JUNE 10, 2022. Burial at Wesley Chapel Cemetery immediately following.
