Virginia "Ginny" Mott

Virginia "Ginny" Lee Mott, age 59, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at her residence.  She was born February 27, 1959 in Columbus, Ohio to Herbert and Vivian Weisenberger.

Ginny graduated in 1977 from Columbus West High School and later earned her cosmetology license.  She was a loving mother and enjoyed spending time with her children, family, and friends.  She took great pride in her years as a baseball mom, loved crafting, and entertaining.  Whether young or old, Ginny delighted in making people smile with a new hairdo.  From a young age Ginny was outgoing, friendly and easily made friends.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

 Ginny is survived by her daughter, Jessica Mott (Chad) of Hilliard, Ohio; son, Adam Mott of Columbus, Ohio; mother, Vivian Murphy of Hilliard, Ohio; father, Herbert Weisenberger (Marilyn) of Grove City; sister, Linda Paparodis (Chris) of Hilliard; sister, Susie Bland (Craig) of Medina, Ohio; brother Cary Weisenberger (Geny) of Encinitas, CA.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Claudia, Gavin, Bailey, Kaeson, Kohen, Leona, and Vayda.  Ginny will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends, including special friends Earl and Danny.  Ginny was preceded in death by her beloved son, Chadwick Mott.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. with the funeral at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Tidd Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio.  The family requests that any donations in Ginny's memory be directed to Brain and Behavior Research Foundation (www.bbrfoundation.org), or please consider being an organ/tissue donor.
