Virginia King

Virginia Mae “Ginny” King, age 95, of Columbus, went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2016. Ginny was born March 7, 1920 in Wadsworth, Ohio. Virginia was a friend to all and her unfailing kindness and love will remain a legacy for her family and many friends. She was an active member of St. John Lutheran Church of Dublin. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband Homer George King. She is survived by her children Glen (Linda) King, Elaine King, Richard (Kathy) King and Vivian (Steve) Hazell, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends 5-7 pm Thursday at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday at St. John Lutheran Church of Dublin, 6135 Rings Road, Dublin, OH 43016; where family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the time of service. Interment Fairview Memorial Park, Delaware, OH. Virginia enjoyed working and being with people. Ginny was very independent and still living in her own home, retiring with 30 years of service from the Woolworth Company and spent time working in to her mid 80’s for Hallmark and Cracker Barrel.
