Virginia Routh

Virginia "Gini" Ann (Gregg) Routh, age 89, entered Heaven to be with her savior on Friday, February 19, 2016. Born April 1, 1926, in Chicago, IL. She was raised near Delphi, IN and graduated from Purdue University class of 1947 with a degree in Home Economics. Retired from the Ohio State Department of Mental Health and Retardation. She loved her family, reading, gardening, traveling, her cat, Geebee, and Dixieland Music. Preceded in death by parents, Roy and Esther (Cox) Gregg; and grandson, Dustin Carter. Survived by children, Joe (Sue Ann) Carter and Karen (Carter) Zacek; grandson, Jesse (Tiffany) Carter; step grandchildren, Dominic (Elsie) Zacek and Hope (Ben) Taratoot; great grandsons, Hayden and Landon Carter, and Jack Zacek. Friends may call Wednesday, February 24, 2016 from 1:30 p.m. until time of funeral service at 3 p.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard, OH. Pastor Dwayne Flemming officiating. Special music performed by Razzamatazz & Jazz. Private interment at Galloway Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, family encourages memorial contributions be made to Cat Welfare or Samaritan's Purse. Family would like to express gratitude to all those who provided care and love to Gini.
