Virginia Wholf

Virginia Ann Wholf 89 of Hilliard passed on Oct. 25, 2018. She was born May 22, 1929 in Defiance, OH to Otto and Corrine (Westrick) Boff who preceded her in death. She married Duane E. Wholf on Dec. 22, 1948 and he also preceded her in death.  Virginia loved her family, her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She enjoyed volunteering, playing cards, and The Ohio State Buckeyes. She was a member of the Hilliard Presbyterian Church and held many offices including Elder, Deacon, numerous committees, Logos, choir, chime choir and was a nominee for woman of the year from the Women’s Association.  Survivors include her children Karen Wholf of Hilliard, Michael Wholf of Powell, grandchildren Tony (Daphne) Ashby, Jay (Jodie) Ashby and Tracy (Eddie Morr) Wholf, and great grandchildren Alexis and Mia Ashby. Visitation will be held from 1 to 3PM Sunday Oct. 28 at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard, OH 43206. A Celebration of Life will be held on Monday Oct. 29, 2018 at 10AM at the Hilliard Presbyterian Church 3600 Leap Road Hilliard, OH. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to either the Hilliard Presbyterian Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
