Vivian Greene

Vivian Jean Greene, “Viv” age 99 gained her wings on October 28th, 2024, at Memorial Hospital in Marysville, Ohio. She was proceeded in death by Husband Theodore Greene, Mother Edith Romeo (John Romeo), Father Vicola Gaudio and her 7 siblings (5 brother’s and 2 sister’s). Vivian was born June 7th, 1925, in Youngstown, Ohio. Survived by: Children: Michael D. (Karen) Miller, Ted E. (Sherri) Greene, David L. Greene (Dawn Vanarsdale). Grandchildren: Amanda L. (Sean) Courtney, Israel (Jennifer) Miller, Jennifer Greene (Bill Latchaw), Nathan (Wendy) Adkins, and Nikki (Mike) Capilino. Great Grandchildren: William M. & Johnathan L. Miller, Thomas P. Price, Christopher G. Courtney, Edith Miller, Lexi Grandy, Destiny, Faith, and Zoey Capilino. Niece: Patricia Morrison. 

Those who knew her will remember her for her spunkiness, quick wit, and her love for Ohio State Buckeyes football team. She was always on the go and loved eating out and spending time with friends and family. She enjoyed playing cards, going to bingo, and being at home with her beloved cats. She loved working at the thrift store in Plain City where she kept them laughing. She made many wonderful friends while working there. 

Vivian loved to read her bible and drinking coffee every morning. She was a member at Life Point Church in Plain City, and she has so many amazing friends there. Some of her special friends are Liz, Carol, Regina, Barb, Sharyn, Mary, Dorene, Melissa, Linda, Martin and family, Bev, Allison and family. We would also like to thank Gables Nursing Home and a special thank you to Via Quest Hospice for taking wonderful care of our loved one. 

Vivian was a loving, wonderful, caring women who left behind a legacy of being the life of the party. Her Legacy of beauty and charm will be remembered by all who knew her. Her love for her Children, Grandchildren, and Great Grandchildren filled her heart. She was hoping to make it to her 100th Birthday and her passing 7 months before this amazing milestone leaves a hole in the hearts of all who knew her.

Viewing for Immediate Family at 9am and Friends & Family 10am-12pm Friday November 8th, 2024, at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 9720 OH-161, Plain City, Ohio, where services will be held at 12pm by Pastor Rick Yutzy. Interment Sunset Cemetery.
