Walter Johnson III

Walter F. Johnson “Bud” III, age 75, of Hilliard, passed away December 5, 2024. Graduated from Marlington High School class of 1967. U.S. Navy Veteran. Walter retired from Columbus Worthington Air. He was an avid fisherman, enjoyed woodworking and photography of covered bridges, flowers and nature. Preceded in death by parents Walter and Neva Mae Johnson II, loving wife Laurie and brother John Johnson. Survived by son Walter “Lin” (Rachel) Johnson IV, sister Diane “Kay” (John) Alge, grandchildren Elizabeth Johnson, Kenny Shane Miller and Kayla Lin Miller, great grandchildren Cole, Layla, Alexander, Myah, Maximus and Victoria, nieces Nicole, Carrie, Ami and Lori, nephew Ronald, best friend Rod Kuskoris, many other loving relatives and friends. Following Walter’s wishes cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Rittman, OH with honors at a later date.
