Walter H. Meyer

Walter Herbert Meyer, age 73, passed away August 6, 2008 at Doctors West Hospital. He was preceded in death by his mother, Antonia Meyer. He is survived by his wife, Nona, of fifty years; son, Michael (Kay) Meyer; daughters, Laura (Tim) Fulton and Lisa (Cary) Weisenberger; grandchildren Michele, Kimberly and Renee Meyer, Nicholas and Casey Fulton, and Brooke, Katie, and Kayla Weisenberger; and great granddaughter Hannah. He is also survived by his brother, Richard Meyer, and sister, Charlotte Crawford. A showing will be held Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 4-8pm at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, Ohio. (614)876-1722. Walter was a retired major with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department and a veteran of the United States Navy. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Walter Meyer to ARC Industries Inc, 250 W. Dodridge Steet, Columbus, Ohio. He was loved and will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
