Wanda Gates

Wanda Gates, age 90, of Hilliard, passed away February 4, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. Retired from Lazarus Department stores as a furniture salesperson. Preceded in death by husband James, son Michael, brother Paul Miller and sister Helen Penwell. Survived by son Jeffrey (Emma) Gates, sister Doris Perrine, grandchildren Justin (Lisa) Gates, Jennifer (Brett) Scarbrough and Jennifer Cook, great grandchildren Kendall and Ella Scarbrough, many loving relatives, friends and caregivers Bob, Vicki and Audra Davis; lifelong friend Georgia Woolard and special friends Tom Perkins, Joe Layne and Pam Shroyer. Family will receive friends 1-3pm Friday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME WITH CREMATORY, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where funeral service will follow at 3 pm Friday. Burial of cremains 10 am Saturday at White Oak Cemetery, Fayette County. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice.
