Wanda Woodworth

Wanda Sue Woodworth, 55, born June 6, 1953, passed away February 25, 2009
at Mt. Carmel West. Surrounded by the love and laughter of family and friends. Preceded in
death by father: Frank Kennedy; husband, Gary Hardy; sister Judy, and niece Carrie Lynn. She was a devoted wife,
"mama", daughter, sister, sister-in-law, aunt & best friend. Following a brief, hard fought battle
with leukemia, Wanda leaves many years of cherished memories to: Husband, Dave; daughter, Jackie (Jim)
McDowell; son John (fiancee-Kari) Hardy; special grand daughter, Kayla Sue Swackhammer;
grandsons, Nevada Swackhammer & Caiden McDowell; mother, Thelma Kennedy; brother, Frank (Kathy) Kennedy;
sisters, Joyce(John) McDonald ;Caro l(Tom) Mettler; Gloria(Richard) Wells; Maria(Gary) Bowshier; many
nieces, nephews and friends. Wanda touched many children's lives during her 20+ years as a bus driver at
Hilliard City Schools. She will be greatly missed by her friends, co-workers & students. The family
wishes to thank Mt. Carmel West 3rd floor, & 4th floor MICU staff for their compassion and support during this difficult time. Family will welcome friends from 5-8pm
on Monday, March 2, 2009 at THE TIDD FUNERAL HOME 5265 Norwich St. Hilliard. A funeral service will be held at 11am Tuesday, March 3 where family will welcome friends one hour prior to service. Interment New Concord Cemetery, Grove City, OH, with Reverend Richard D. Ellsworth officiating. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in her name, 870 Michigan Ave., Columbus, OH 43215.
