Wendell Ball

Wendell E. Ball of Columbus, OH, born October 5, 1930 in Salyersville, KY, went to be with the Lord on Friday, July 15th, at 6:50 PM. Survived by wife, Shirley, of 52 years; three daughters, Linda Ellen Hughes, Paulette Tiller, and Linda Mae Spellman; two sons, Norman L. Spellman and Gregory F. Spellman; 15 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and 7 great, great grandchildren. He was affiliated with the Church of God out of Anderson, IN and was a member of Centerpoint church in Westerville, OH. He loved family time and always look forward to fellowship. Wendell’s legacy is woven throughout his family and he will always be remembered as a spiritual leader who showed that meekness does not mean weakness. He started his days in God’s Word, kept prayer essential in the family, and practiced humility in all things. He showed that you could witness without words and never steered from serving others. Family and friends gathered at Tidd Funeral Home on July 21st for a private service that preceded internment at Sunset cemetery.
