Wilbur Miller

Wilbur C. Miller, age 93, born January 5, 1922 in Alma, OH in Ross County was a , passed away Friday, June 26, 2015 in Columbus, OH. Wilbur was a master carpenter, a graduate of Youngstown Heating and Air Conditioning School, as well as welding school and a member of the Cold War Patriots. He was known to be able to build or fix anything for his friends and family. His hobby was to build small replicas of buildings and churches. He loved his family and was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Preceded in death by wife of 66 years, Ruby; son-in-law, William Scalf; parents, Abraham and Lillian Miller; 7 brothers and 3 sisters. Survived by children, Betty Miller-Scalf and Garry (Jill) Miller; grandchildren, Chris (Gloria) Crane, Katie (Kara) Miller and Lizz (Brad) Miller; great grandchildren, David, Matthew, Mark and Timothy; sister, Rosa Anon and sister-in-law, Mary Miller; many nieces, nephews and special friend, Blitz. Friends may call Tuesday, June 30, from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St. in Hilliard. Interment Alton Cemetery.
