William Adkins

William R. Adkins, age 72, born April 4, 1941 in Englewood, FL, previously of Hilliard, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2013. Preceded in death by father Elmer Adkins who was killed in action during WWII and mother Virginia Shaffer. Survived by daughter Cindy (David) Shrout, soul mate Helen McClaskie, sister Pat (Dan) Welburn of Greenville, SC, grandchildren Amanda (Brandon) Rossey, Mindy Goudy, Caylee Shrout, Johnathan (Cherisa) Rankin, Christina Bushlong, Jacob McClaskie, Curtis McClaskie and Lucas McClaskie, great grandchildren Taylor, Tyler, Zaylen, Alexandria, Isabella and Shawn. Family will receive friends 6-8 pm Thursday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026; where a private family service will be held. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery.
