William Fallon

William Thomas Fallon, age 83, of Hilliard, passed away October 30, 2011. Member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church and US Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict serving two deployments with the 3rd Infantry. Retired with over 30 years of service from the Westinghouse Corporation. Member of V.F.W., American Legion Post 614 and the Shamrock Club. Bill was very proud of his Irish heritage and was an avid Buckeye and Reds fan. Preceded in death by parents John and Frances Fallon, sister Frances, brothers James, John, Joseph, Robert and Lonnie. Bill was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend who touched the lives of all he knew. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Mary Jane (Wollenberg), children Jacqueline (Dr. Laird) Ackerson, Julie (Brent) King, Karen (Larry Evans) Goshert, Mary (James) Nierman, James (Amy) Fallon and Robert “Bo” (Daisy) Fallon, grandchildren Natalie (Dylan) Gaver, Kenneth (Brittany) Ackerson, Kayleigh Ackerson, Marissa and Matt King, Haley and Brittany Goshert, Leah, David, and Daniel Nierman, Olivia and Tommy Fallon, Joel, Evan and Kyle Fallon, great granddaughters Savannah and Bellamy Gaver, and many loving relatives and friends. The family would like to share a sincere thank you to Odyssey Hospice for Bill’s devoted care. Family will receive friends Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 10 am at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, 4475 Dublin Rd., Hilliard, OH 43026 with Father Jeffrey Tigyer officiating.
