William Charles Hardison, age 70, of Dublin, Ohio, passed away on April 6, 2023, at Dublin Methodist Hospital, following a 1-month illness. He was born on June 24, 1952, in Buffalo, NY, to Donald and Yvonne (Barnes) Hardison.
Bill grew up in Buffalo, New York and Flint, Michigan and spent his summers with family in Fort Erie, Canada. He graduated from the University of Dayton in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree, Edison State Community College with an Associate degree, and Carmen High School in 1970. Bill spent 24 years of his professional career dedicated to Insight as a Procurement Specialist and Client Operations Specialist and worked for Buick early in his career. He was a US veteran who proudly served our country in the United States Air Force and was a Deputy Sheriff for Genesee County in Michigan.
Bill loved his family, the University of Michigan Football/Basketball - Go-Blue, the Detroit Lions, Cincinnati Reds and Bengals, NCAA basketball March Madness, college softball, and all things sports. He was a classic car enthusiast and was a member of the Loose Nuts car club back in the day. Bill has been reunited with his beloved dog Max.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years, Tracy (Wilson) Hardison, daughter Paige Hardison, and sister Elda Kennick. He is preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonnie Hardison and brother Donnie Hardison. Bill loved his daughter Paige to the moon and back and will be deeply missed by his family and friends.
Per Bill’s wishes, the family will have private services. Arrangements were made by Tidd Funeral Home in Hilliard, Ohio.
