William Dale Purdin, Jr.

William Dale Purdin, Jr., age 71, of Hilliard, passed away, Sunday, June 14, 2009. Member of St. James the Less Catholic Church and the prayer group. Retired from AEP and also State of Ohio P.U.C.O. Preceded in death by father William D. Purdin, Sr. and brother-in-law Harry Griest. Survived by loving wife of 31 years, Catherine, mother Katie Purdin, daughter Jennifer (Todd) Severns, son Michael (Lisa) Purdin, sister Lura Griest, grandchildren Amber, Jeremy, Anthony, Audrey and Cohen, numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends. Family will receive friends 3-5 pm Wednesday at the TIDD FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard, OH 43026. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 am Thursday at St. James the Less Catholic Church, 1652 Oakland Park Ave., Columbus, OH 43224. Interment Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
