William Edward Radabaugh Sr., age 92 of Mt. Sterling passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Mount Sterling Place.
Born in Madison County, Ohio on Oct. 12, 1918 to John Alva & Grace (Crawford) Radabaugh where he was the oldest of five children. William was retired from farming, being an avid admirer of Farmall tractors.
He was a lifelong resident of Madison County, a past member of Madison County Farm Bureau.
Preceded in death by parents; wife Barbara (LeBeau) Radabaugh in 2000; sisters Ellen Mae Meadows & Dorothy Bennett; brother Roger Radabaugh.
Survived by three children, Beverly (TJ) McGraw of Ypsilanti, MI., William E. (Suellen) Radabaugh and Judy (James) Davis, both of Mt. Sterling; three grandchildren, Rebecca McGraw of Tucson, AZ., David (Wendy) McGraw of Fairfax, VA., Jon (Angie) Radabaugh of Naperville, IL.; 2 great grandchildren, Aidan Radabaugh and Matthew McGraw; with the anticipation of 2 new great grandchildren;
Sister Anna Lou (Alvin) Toops of Mt. Sterling; sisters-in-law, Betty Radabaugh and Geneva LeBeau, both of Mt. Sterling; Special Friend, Betty Lewis, also of Mt. Sterling; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
A Funeral service will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 8, 2011 at the PORTER-TIDD FUNERAL HOME, Mt. Sterling. Rev. Dortha Ross officiating with the interment following in Pleasant Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday from 4 – 7 p.m.
