William Robert Rozich, age 100, formerly of Fishkill, NY, found peace with the Lord on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at Brookdale Center in Dublin, OH. Born in New York City, NY to the late Peter and Anna Rozich. He graduated from the High School of Commerce in New York City in 1937. He was a veteran of the United States Navy and served honorably during World War II. He married Olga Duke in 1941. Bill retired from IBM after a 30 year career as an Electromechanical Technician. He was a member of American Legion Post #3, Mt. Vernon, NY and was a 3rd Degree Knight, Knights of Columbus Council #1646 in Wappingers Falls, NY. Bill and his wife Olga were faithful parishioners of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Fishkill. In retirement, Bill enjoyed traveling and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Bill and Olga moved to Columbus, OH to be near their family in 2013. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother John and sister Rosemary. Bill is survived by his beloved wife of nearly 77 years, Olga Rozich of Columbus, OH, son and daughter-in-law William and Elizabeth Rozich, Jr. of Dublin, OH, grandchildren: William (Gerrilyn) Rozich, III, of Dublin, Kenneth (Alyssa) Rozich of Cromwell, CT and Rebecca (Andrew) Kusmierczyk of Zionsville, IN, and his eight cherished great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 10:00a.m-11:00a.m. MONDAY, NOVEMBER 26, 2018 at ST. BRIGID OF KILDARE CATHOLIC CHURCH, 7179 Avery Road, Dublin, OH 43017 where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00a.m. MONDAY with Monsignor Joseph M. Hendricks, Celebrant. United States Navy Honors will be rendered immediately after the Mass. Private family burial will be held on a later date at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
