Wilma Skaggs

Wilma D. Skaggs was born on November 7th, 1936 in Lucasville, Ohio, to her parents Clifford and Edna (Shonkwiler) Slavens.  She passed away on the evening of September 7th, 2023 at her home, surrounded by love.  

Wilma was the proud co-owner and operator of Harold’s Family Restaurant in Medina, Ohio, going hand in hand with her love for cooking.  She spent her sunny days taking care of her yard and garden, which she adored greatly, and her love for Disney World was almost as great as her love for her family and friends.  

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Edna (Shonkwiler) Salvens, Sisters, Peggy and Ruth, Nephew Johnny and her niece Joanne.

Wilma is Survived by her Loving husband, Harold Skaggs, son, Charles and daughter-in-law Lori Skaggs, and her nephew Ray Meadows.  

The family will receive friends for a visitation on Sunday, September 17th from 12:00pm to 2:00pm with a service immediately following at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich street, Hilliard, OH 432026.
