Wolfgang Fifer

Wolfgang Gregory Fifer was born on January 10, 1955 (passed on November 13, 2023) to the late Anthony and Florence (Hazelton) Fifer in Twinsburg, Ohio. He attended Parmadale and R.B. Chamberlin where he made many lifelong friends. He married Shannon Riffle and son Michael; daughter Jessica was born the following year. He loved attending Browns and Indians games, participating in community events and festivals, and helped coach many of his Childrens’ sports teams in Chagrin Falls and Worthington, Ohio. Later in life, he met his love, Carolyn McCarty-Fifer and they married in 2023. He spent three years with Carolyn, and that time was full of laughing and enjoying life. Wolfgang never met a stranger, only potential friends. He was outgoing, lively and always optimistic. He had an adventurous spirit and traveled the United States extensively. He loved watching the Buckeyes play. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, children Jessica (Jorge) and Michael (Trisha), brother Daniel, stepsons Patrick (Shanna) and Christopher (Jill), sisters-in-law Marilyn (Rick) and Jackie Uhrig (Gary), 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the Hilliard Moose Lodge on December 26th, 2023 from 5pm-7pm (5370 Grace St, Hilliard, OH 43026)
