Yvonne Herbert

Yvonne Gayle Herbert, 77, of Hilliard, went to be with our Lord June 20th, 2009 at Mt. Carmel West Hospital. She was born October 2, 1931. She is preceded in death by her parents Elijah and Clara Wolfe and 8 of her brothers and sisters. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loving family which includes her husband of 60 years, Charles; their children, Judy Myers, Susan (Pat) Gifford, Brian (Kathy) Herbert; grandchildren, Gayle (Duane) Crouse, Kelly (Brent) Boggs, Christina (Jon) Hopkins, Charles (Tiffany) Herbert, and Lani Smelser; great-grandchildren; Jordin, Jackie, Jacob, Xander, Dustin, Haylee, Taylor, Wesley, and Kaden; and goddaughter, Lisa George (nee: Bicker), the daughter of their long-time neighbors, Ed and Lynn Bicker all from Hilliard. Yvonne was the youngest of 10 siblings; one survives in Florida (Joann Sample). Yvonne was a member of the Hilliard Church of Christ and retired from Kroger Co. Her family would like to thank the Northwest Township Medics, the 4th floor staff at Mt. Carmel West, and the Home Reach staff. In adherence to Yvonne’s wishes there will be no services. Her family will plan a small remembrance dinner at a date to be determined. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
